Minnesota is our new home

Well there is not much to say about living here in Minnesota now. We will be here working all summer long. Our hope is that we will be successful and have some fun on the way. Luck for me there are a numer of really great friends to be made. here is a sample of some of our new friends out here! We went shoping for a sombraro and a fake mucsache and ended up looking at the endless options for sunglasses.

Missing Daddy

Ryan and I are up visiting the grandparents in SLC while Jared gets settled out in Minisota for the summer! This Sunday, my first Mothers Day, Ryan and I will fly out and meet Jared. I am so excited to fly with Ryan, and yet a little nervous. In the mean time, we just hang out with the family here. I can tell that Ryan misses her daddy though. Jared is usually the one who feeds her at night and puts her down in bed. However, the past week he has been gone. When I put Jared on the phone to let Ryan hear his voice she always smiles no matter how tired she is. We can't wait to get out there and see Dad!!

Starting to Smile

Ryan is really starting to develop her own little personality!! She has learned how to smile. While most of the smiles are in the morning, she is smiling more and more! I can't wait to see more of her personality as it develops!!

One month old

Ryan is growin up so fast. She now will follow you with her eyes accross a room--not too far yet mind you. The best is that she will smile at you! She has the sweetest smile!! She is always smiling in the mornings, however, she smiles more and more as the days pass.

belly button

It's oficial now that Ryan has a belly button! A few days ago the scab on her tummy finally fell off to reveal a very cute and very innie belly button!
The rest of the week has been a little crazy! Jared and I are tag teaming a lot! When he is at school I am at home. When Jared gets home I go to work! I don't know how long this will last but we'll see.

Tub Time!!

We gave Ryan her second tub the other day. We were a littl nervous about it though because the first one didn't go so well. The first tub Ryan got she really used her lungs--she just does not like being cold at all!! So this time we tried a suggestion of a some friends who are also new parents. They said that they use a hair dryer to keep warm air on their little girl and she loves it. So we gave it a try and it worked! Ryan was rolling her little eyes in the back of her head she liked it so much!!
